Richmond has confirmed Dustin Martin was involved in a drunken altercation with a woman on Saturday night.
The 24-year-old reportedly threatened to stab a woman with her chopstick.
"He had been drinking and was clearly disruptive to other diners and a female patron," a club spokesman confirmed to Fairfax Media.
"He has subsequently called her and apologised ... his behaviour was not good enough."
The club is expected to release a statement shortly.
