Foundation Giant Stephen Coniglio has seen his soft tissue issues exacerbated, after exiting his side's tussle with the Melbourne Demons through a hamstring injury.

Coniglio was seen receiving attention from medical staff in the second term of the entertaining clash, and given his extensive injury history, conventional wisdom suggests no further part would be taken in Sunday's clash.

Now 32 years of age, Coniglio has overcome a laundry list of serious and niggling injuries alike in recent years. A mysterious glute/nerve injury, shoulder concerns, facial fractures, concussions, knee, ankle and toe reconstructions are just a few of the ailments to hobble Coniglio's ability to contribute meaningfully to the Giants' finals fortunes in recent seasons.

Elsewhere, Demons swingman Harrison Petty was assessed for a foot injury, after landing awkwardly in a marking contest, also in the second term. After colliding with teammate Koltyn Tholstrup in mid air, Petty's feet were twisted below him upon hitting the luscious Traeger Park carpet.

Petty returned to the field of play, although still appeared hampered.

Demons superstar Kysaiah Pickett delivered a Goal of the Year contender, wowing locals with a brilliant finish from the boundary.

It adds to a treasure trove of highlights offered by the electric 24-year-old this season, who's rewarding the faith shown to him in the form of a long term deal with the club that drafted him, with game-changing moment after game-changing moment.
