North Melbourne will welcome back veteran forward Lindsay Thomas for the Roos’ clash with the Gold Coast at Metricon Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Marley Williams will make way for Thomas, with the defender struggling with a back issue.

It will be Thomas’ first senior appearance since round five, while Williams will miss his first game for North Melbourne since making the move from Collingwood in last season’s trade period.

Gold Coast will go into the match unchanged, as Gary Ablett has been deemed fit to play in what will be his 300th AFL game.

Suns co-captain Steven May will also play his 100th match.
