Geelong has made a late change ahead of its clash with Fremantle at Simonds Stadium this afternoon.

Jordan Cunico has been withdrawn from the side due to an ankle injury and has been replaced by Jordan Murdoch.

Scott Selwood, who suffered a hamstring injury during last week's loss to West Coast, will take his place in the team, despite being in serious doubt for the match.

Selwood effectively ruled himself out of today's match earlier in the week after sitting out the final quarter last Thursday night. However, his injury was not as serious as he first thought.

“I got a little tear in my hamstring,” Selwood told K-Rock radio.

“I got pretty good scans results to say it’s not too bad and hopefully I won’t miss too much footy."

But after giving the former Eagles'vice-captain until the last minute to prove his fitness, the onballer will play.

Fremantle will go into the match as selected.
