The Lions have made a late change ahead of their clash with Hawthorn at UTAS Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Former Hawks champion Luke Hodge has withdrawn from the side after suffering a knock to his calf earlier in the week. He was given up until the last minute to overcome the injury, but ultimately was not risked.

Young defender Cedric Cox will replace Hodge, who is set to play his third AFL match this season.

The Hawks will go in as named.
