Hawthorn have been forced into a late change ahead of Saturday night's clash with GWS, with Jack Gunston withdrawn from the side with a corked calf.

Gunston suffered the injury during the Hawks' win over Gold Coast last weekend, and has failed to prove his fitness ahead of tonight's big clash.

He has been replaced in the side by Conor Glass.

โ€œObviously Jack is a really important player for us, so we wanted to give him every chance to recover from that corked calf," Hawthorn's GM-Football Graham Wright told hawthornfc.com.au.

โ€œUnfortunately he is still experiencing some soreness so weโ€™ve decided not to take the risk.

โ€œConor Glass comes in as his replacement on the back of some strong form for Box Hill.

โ€œHe always puts in 100 per cent effort, so weโ€™re confident heโ€™ll come in and play his role.โ€

GWS will enter the clash unchanged.
