Hawthorn have been forced into a late change ahead of Saturday night's clash with GWS, with Jack Gunston withdrawn from the side with a corked calf.

Gunston suffered the injury during the Hawks' win over Gold Coast last weekend, and has failed to prove his fitness ahead of tonight's big clash.

He has been replaced in the side by Conor Glass.

“Obviously Jack is a really important player for us, so we wanted to give him every chance to recover from that corked calf," Hawthorn's GM-Football Graham Wright told hawthornfc.com.au.

“Unfortunately he is still experiencing some soreness so we’ve decided not to take the risk.

“Conor Glass comes in as his replacement on the back of some strong form for Box Hill.

“He always puts in 100 per cent effort, so we’re confident he’ll come in and play his role.”

GWS will enter the clash unchanged.
