The Giants have been dealt a major blow for tonight's clash with the Western Bulldogs, with star midfielder Josh Kelly pulling out of the side.
Kelly comes out with calf tightness, with youngster Jackson Hately replacing him in the 22.
Giants General Manager of Football Jason McCartney said the club weren't willing to risk Kelly and expected him to return next week.ย
โWith a five day break between games, we arenโt taken any risks with Josh,โ McCartney told the club website.
โAt this stage weโre confident heโll be able for selection next week.
โJackson Hately has been banging the door down with his training form and weโre confident heโll be able to play a role tonight.โ
