Former Port Adelaide star Kane Cornes has named the six players who he believes need a big summer to set themselves up for a breakout 2021 campaign.

The Power games record holder had singled out players from the South Australian clubs - including two from the Crows and four from his ex-club.

Speaking on SEN SA Breakfast, Cornes discussed the players in no particular order who he believes need to show improvement next season.

1. Elliott Himmelberg

Played 11 games in 2020 - averaged 9.6 disposals and booted 9 goals

Cornes said: “I’d love to see Elliott Himmelberg build on what he did towards the back-end of last year.

“I think we now know he’s a capable footballer, how good he wants to be will be up to him.

“I think a big summer for him in the gym and working on his forward and ruck craft is going to be significant and the upside for Adelaide will be huge there.”
