Travis Boak will lead Port Adelaide for the sixth straight season, as Charlie Dixon and new recruit Tom Rockliff join Boak in a seven-man leadership group for the Power.

Boak will be flanked by vice-captain Ollie Wines, while Brad Ebert, Hamish Hartlett and Tom Jonas remain in the leadership group.

Port Adelaide's General Manager of Football, Chris Davies, told the club's website the players made the correct decision in selecting the members of the group.

โ€œTravis was clearly the person we wanted to captain the club in 2018," Davies told portadelaidefc.com.au.

โ€œOllie is maturing every year and showed last year that heโ€™s an outstanding leader. We have every expectation heโ€™ll strengthen his talents in that area with each year that goes by.

โ€œCharlie has done everything right since arriving here and has made a significant impression throughout the club. Heโ€™s a strong, positive influence.

โ€œAnd Tom has come to the club from Brisbane and, within a matter of months, has shown our players that heโ€™s a leader amongst them. The coaching group too, has been rapt with his character and commitment.โ€

Jackson Trengove is the only leader from the 2017 group that has been removed, after he joined the Western Bulldogs during last season's free agency period.
