Port Adelaide's Nathan Krakouer and North Melbourne's Ben Cunnington will both miss the beginning of the home and away season.
Krakouer has been suspended for one match after a high bump on St Kilda's Sean Dempster on Thursday night.

Cunnington has also copped a one-week ban for rough conduct on Hawthorn's Taylor Duryea.
Meanwhile, Melbourne's Jesse Hogan has been handed a $1,000 fine for umpire contact.
