Premiership duo Nick Vlastuin and Josh Caddy have both been ruled out of the Tigers' clash against Melbourne on Tuesday after they failed to train on Monday.

With Nathan Broad almost a certainty to play after being held over from Richmond's VFL game against Casey, the Tigers will be looking at three changes come selection.

If Broad is selected, it would be his first AFL game for 2018, after serving his club imposed three week suspension.

It is believed that Vlastuin has a calf problem, while mystery surrounds Caddy's absence from the session at Punt road on Monday morning.

Sam Llyod and Jack Higgins were apart of the 22 players that trained on Monday after they both didn't feature in the VFL on the weekend.

The Tigers are already forced into making one change this week with Jack Graham out of the team with suspension.
