Hawthorn have made a late change ahead of their clash with the Gold Coast Suns in Tasmania on Saturday.

Hawks ruckman Jonathon Ceglar has been withdrawn from the side, and will be replaced in the 22 by forward Tim O-Brien.

“Cegs has been nursing a bit of sore quad after receiving a cork in last week’s game," a statement on Hawthorn's website said.

“We gave him every opportunity to get up, but unfortunately he’s just not 100 per cent right so he won’t play.

“Tim O’Brien will come in to the side after a solid performance for Box Hill last week.

“He’s an experienced player, and we’re confident he can come in and play his role for the team.”

Jonathan O'Rourke has been added to the emergencies following O'Brien's promotion.

Ceglar has played Hawthorn's last three matches, after recovering from an ACL injury suffered in round 22, 2016.

It's Hawthorn's second change for the game, with James Frawley replacing Kaiden Brand when the teams were originally announced on Thursday night.
