Jeremy Cameron and Brett Deledio have both been ruled out of the Giants' round seven clash with Geelong on Friday night with injury.

Cameron will miss with a toe injury, while Deledio is suffering from a hamstring issue.

“Brett played the entire game but noticed it at the end of the game against the Lions,” said GWS' Head of Athletic Performance David Joyce told gwsgiants.com.au.

“We’re taking obviously a cautious approach with Brett. It’s disappointing because he’s played some terrific footy over the course of the season so far but with a six-day turnaround we’re just not prepared to risk that.

“Jeremy has been battling with his left big toe for a number of weeks and we just feel that this is the right time - again, a six-day turnaround - to just give him a chop-out this week and hopefully both will be back wearing the guernsey really soon.”

Midfielder Josh Kelly is still 1-2 weeks away, while ruckman Rory Lobb could also miss the next fortnight.

Forward Zac Langdon is a chance to face the Cats after injuring his knee in the second quarter.

“On the weekend we weren’t quite sure exactly how it would be and we weren’t prepared to risk him in that game,” Joyce said.

“He’s actually pulled up really, really well and the scans have come back with positive news for us. He needs to get through training and hopefully figure this weekend.”
