GWS have made a late change ahead of their clash with Essendon at Spotless Stadium on Saturday afternoon, with Sam Reid withdrawn from the squad that was named on Thursday.

Reid has been replaced in the side by Dylan Buckley, who comes in to play just his second game for the Giants since moving from Carlton at the end of the 2017 season.

Buckley made his GWS debut against the Cats in round seven, and collected seven disposals and four tackles during the loss.

Reid will miss his first game of the season, after stringing nine consecutive games together for the first time in his career.
