Carlton will be without Zac Fisher and Liam Jones for the rest of the season, after the pair suffered season-ending injuries during the Blues' loss to Hawthorn on Sunday.

Fisher has sustained a crack in his left fibula, while Jones will miss with a medial ligament strain.

Carlton's Head of Football Andrew McKay confirmed the injuries to carltonfc.com.au.

"Unfortunately scans have revealed a medial ligament strain to Liam's right knee," McKay told the club's website.

"Scans have also determined that Zac has a crack in his left fibula, which will sideline him for the rest of the season.

"While clearly very disappointing, the Club will support both Liam and Zac in their recoveries with the view that the pair will be ready and fit for the start of the upcoming pre-season campaign."
