The Greater Western Sydney Giants have secured the services of Toby Greene well into the future after the small forward penned a six-year extension with the New South Wales-based club.

According to the Herald Sun's Jon Ralph, the deal is believed to be worth as much as $1 million per season, with Greene possessing the rare ability to turn a match on its head in a matter of minutes.

The Giants have called a press conference for midday on Tuesday, where a pair of major announcements will be made.

Greene has established himself as one of the premier small forwards in the competition over the last two seasons, and despite his hard-nosed approach to the game, which some see as a detriment, his goal-to-game output ranks among the best in the competition, with the Giants hierarchy placing their faith in the 24-year-old.
