General manager of football operations Chris Bond said Blakely was dropped from the side due to not meeting team standards.
Bond said Blakely went home from training early on Wednesday due to illness, before travelling to Bunbury and Yallingup to go surfing.
โAs a respected, young and emerging player at Fremantle, Connor knows the uncompromising standards that all of our players are required to adhere to and, in this instance, Connor has not been at the required level,โ Bond said.
โAs a result Connor was withdrawn from the team to play St Kilda.โ
Fremantle will confirm their final 22 for Sunday's clash at 5pm on Friday night.
