It's always nice to come to the end of the week and look back on funny, heartwarming and interesting things that have happened in the AFL.

Here are some of the best stories of this week, that we feel will brighten up your day and garner a few laughs.

Good news while training

Wednesday night was probably the greatest night in the lives of all the new recruits who were drafted.

Learning that you have been drafted to an AFL list is a wonderful feeling, and being able to share it with your teammates makes it even better.

Sebit Kuek, Jacob Bauer and Zane Williams were all able to share their moment with their mates.

Ahmed "Garage Man" Saad returns

Last week we shared Aussie AFL comedians @ShepMates recreating the iconic commentary moment "Bananas at the 'G".

This week they're back at it, this time recreating BT's Ahmed Saad "Garage Man' moment.

Breuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuust!

Hawthorn forward Luke Breust will play his 250th game this weekend.

To commemorate the milestone, Hawthorn's media team put together a little video including a couple of 'Spunky's close mates.

Essendon are safe - or are they?

The Bombers have been the butt of jokes all season, just look at last week, we shared the George Costanza Essendon tragic series TypeMedia put out.

Sitting with a win-loss record of 2-9 will do that.

Well the Dons have a bye this week, so they're safe from jokes.... well maybe not.
