AFL chief executive officer Gillon McLachlan has told that he expects the AFL commission to come to a conclusion whether this year’s AFL Grand Final time-slot will be shifted to a later time.

But what changes if the Grand Final is shifted to later in the afternoon?

Some of the biggest games are played under lights during the regular season, but why not the biggest one of them all?

Tradition is thrown out of the window with the annual AFL Grand Final breakfast put in limbo, will the breakfast be moved to a lunch or remain in the early part of the day?

A night time medal presentation would be introduced at the conclusion of the match that may bring a more entertaining feel to the highly regarded event.

Collingwood President Eddie McGuire urged the proposal in 2016 along with Brisbane legend Jonathon Brown who stated a twilight Grand Final was inevitable in the next five years.

Broadcasters are keen on the move, believing the time-slot will attract more viewers. The Grand Final has been played in the day time slot since the big dance was first played, will the AFL bite the bullet and move the Grand Final to a more fan-based popular time?

What time slot do you want to see grand final played at?
