Hawthorn has announced the delistings of James Blanck, Henry Hustwaite, Bodie Ryan, Cody Anderson and Jaime Uhr-Henry from its list.
The quintet leave the Hawks ahead of a busy off-season for the Victorian club, which is expected to secure Gold Coast forward Ben King and Essendon veteran Zach Merrett.
Blanck's delisting comes after 24 games in the brown and gold, with his last appearance coming in 2023 before an ACL injury hampered his opportunities at senior level.
Hustwaite and Ryan depart after 11 and five games for Hawthorn respectively, with the latter making his AFL debut this year. Hustwaite featured in at least one game every year since being drafted in 2022.
Neither Anderson nor Uhr-Henry managed to break through for an AFL debut, with Anderson joining Hustwaite, Blanck and Ryan in featuring in Box Hill's recent VFL premiership side.
“We'd like to thank Cody, James, Henry, Bodie and Jaime for their contribution to Hawthorn," Hawks recruiter Mark McKenzie said in a club statement.
“While these decisions are always difficult, all five players showed maturity throughout their process.
“Cody, James, Henry, Bodie and Jaime were all much-loved teammates and we wish them well in their future endeavours.”
The five delistings are the first list changes for Hawthorn this year, with the club having managed a strong run of re-signings, including Ollie Greeves (2027), Jack Gunston (2027), Matt Hill (2028), Mitchell Lewis (2030), Harry Morrison (2027), Ned Reeves (2029), Aidan Schubert (2029) and Josh Weddle (2030) this year.
