Gun draft prospects Will Ashcroft, Harry Sheezel and Cameron McKenzie all fired brilliant final shots ahead of November's AFL Draft, starring in Sandringham's NAB League Grand Final win over Dandenong on Friday night.

Though Ashcroft's status as the resounding choice to become the first selection in 2022 had long been in place ahead of the decider, Sheezel's stock skyrocketed after slotting four goals in the 43-point win.

The offensive talent's pièce de résistance came during the third term with this gritty chase and classy snap.

Not to be outshone, Ashcroft was at his busy best for the Dragons, racking up 39 disposals, six clearances, six inside 50m entries and five tackles.

St Kilda Next Generation Academy (NGA) product McKenzie also has recruiters on notice, finishing with 26 touches and a pair of majors in the win.

While McKenzie's stat line was padded with six tackles and clearances apiece, Saints fans need not get too attached, as the teenager is unlikely to make his way to Moorabbin simply due to his alignment.

Each of McKenzie, Sheezel and Ashcroft are seen as near certainties to be selected within the first 15 picks of the upcoming draft.

The trifecta all earned votes for best afield honours, with Ashcroft (11 votes) walking away from Princes Park wearing two medallions, edging McKenzie (8) and Sheezel (5) for bragging rights.

The victory saw Sandringham toast their fourth NAB League flag after tasting success in 1999, 2011 and 2016.

The first night of the 2022 AFL Draft is scheduled to take place on Monday, November 28 at Marvel Stadium.
