Fremantle assistant coach Jaymie Graham will lead the Dockers for the second consecutive week, with senior coach Justin Longmuir set to remain in the AFL's health and safety protocols for the club's clash against Greater Western Sydney this Saturday.

Graham, the Dockers' forward coach, stepped in for Longmuir last weekend for the Western Derby, with Fremantle eventually prevailing by 55 points.

It is understood that there was a change in Longmuir's COVID-19 status that has resulted in the third-year coach being unavailable to conduct his side for the Round 4 clash.

Fremantle football boss Peter Bell praised the way his club was able to adapt to the complicated situation last week.

"We were really pleased with the way our coaching team, players and staff quickly adjusted and then planned, prepared and collaborated to get the desired result on Sunday," Bell told Fremantle's official website.

"Justin was able to communicate with the coaching team throughout the game and we will look to operate in a similar way on Saturday against GWS."

All signs suggest Longmuir will be available to return to the coaches' box in Round 5 when the Dockers battle the Bombers.
