Greater Western Sydney's Toby Greene is a super talent and a key member of the Giants' forward line. However, he is fast becoming renowned for his temper due to several indiscretions which have caught the eye of the Match Review Panel.

Greene has had four incidents just this year assessed by the tribunal and has been involved in 13 charges in his six seasons in the AFL.

On Saturday afternoon, Greene likely added to the list, with a punch to the face of Richmond defender, Alex Rance and his ill-discipline will cost the injury ravaged Giants yet again, as he looks certain to spend several weeks on the sidelines.

Following the Giants' loss to Richmond on Sunday afternoon, coach Leon Cameron said he will need sit down and chat to his forward to help him to better channel his aggression.

"It's disappointing. I can't sit here and hide from it," Cameron said.

"We have to look at that discipline part of our game because there were 50m (penalties against Richmond) that cost us.

"I must admit it had got a lot better, but in today's game it reared its head and I'm disappointed that Toby has played his part in that.

"I'll back him into the hilt every day of the week and we have to have a chat again Monday (or) Tuesday about it because it's just flattening and clearly it can break momentum."

"This young kid is worth spending time with because I know his heart's in the right spot and that is he wants to play footy for this footy club from minute one to minute 120, but there are some areas in his game that he needs to tidy up."

Greene was suspended for two weeks in round six this season after striking Bulldog Caleb Daniel.

Ill-discipline is no the side's only worry, with Cameron's men in danger of dropping out of the top four in the coming weeks.

The Giants have had three losses, two draws and just one win in their past six matches and now sit third on the ladder and equal on points with fourth placed Richmond.
