The Gold Coast Suns have revealed their 2024 guernsey numbers for their class of recruits ahead of the 2024 season.

The four Suns Academy graduates, Jed Walter, Ethan Read, Will Graham and Jake Rogers, will wear numbers 17, 20, 26 and 29 respectively.

Entering his debut season, Walter will wear the guernsey formerly worn by star defender and Suns captain Steven May. Graham will wear the same number he wore during his junior years with the Suns' Academy and when representing the Allies.

Rookie draft selections Sam Clohesy, Will Rowlands and Jack Mahony will wear jumper numbers 33, 36 and 42 respectively.

The 2024 guernsey announcement comes with the Suns signing a two-year contract extension with club partner Knotwood.

Gold Coast Suns General Manager Andrew Thomas revealed the club is very excited about extending their relationship with Knotwood.

โ€œKnotwood were our first ever partner to be featured on the top-back of our guernsey and it has been a pleasure working with Leo, Michael, Darren and Brendan,โ€ Thomas said.

โ€œKnotwood are leaders in their field when it comes to sustainability and we love to work with like-minded organisations such as Knotwood who are based in our community on the Gold Coast.โ€

The Knotwood logo will remain on the top back of the Suns' jumpers till at least the end of 2026.
