Hot off the heels of both Darcy Moore and Mitch Cleary slipping up on Thursday night, we've rounded up some of the most iconic AFL F bombs.
The AFL has a long history with profanity. While most people try to keep it together, particularly in front of the cameras (it is a nationwide broadcast after all) there are always the occasional little expletives that sneak through in the heat of the moment.
Whether it's a player, a commentator or even an interviewer, everyone slips up sometimes. And we all enjoy having a good chuckle at them when they do.
2Sicily's apology
Following a 34 point win against Adelaide in the 2025 semi finals, Hawthorn's James Sicily had to apologise after letting out a few choice expletives.
"I dunno, we just f**king, sh*t, sorry Caro."
Channel Seven commentator Caroline Wilson had critiqued Daicos, McRae and Chol's language the week previously. She accepted Sicily's apology on 7 news, saying "It was nice of him to apologise to me, but was he being a bit of a smartypants?"
