Hot off the heels of both Darcy Moore and Mitch Cleary slipping up on Thursday night, we've rounded up some of the most iconic AFL F bombs.

The AFL has a long history with profanity. While most people try to keep it together, particularly in front of the cameras (it is a nationwide broadcast after all) there are always the occasional little expletives that sneak through in the heat of the moment.

Whether it's a player, a commentator or even an interviewer, everyone slips up sometimes. And we all enjoy having a good chuckle at them when they do.

6Cripps' suspicious slip up

Patrick Cripps let a few slip, following a Carlton loss to Collingwood in 2025.

"Mate if I had the answers I wish I'd f***ing know," said the frustrated captain.

"...Obviously you don't want to be zip and four but f*** that's where we're at at the moment."

However, Hawthorn great Luke Hodge was quick to speculate that Cripps' expletives were not as accidental as they seemed.

Patrick Cripps is a smooth media performer. He does not make those mistakes...That was orchestrated to make sure the supporters know that he's just as frustrated. Because I don't think I've ever heard him swear."
