Geelong are set to blood their fifth debutant for the season in small forward Jermaine Jones against Carlton at GMHBA Stadium on Saturday night, as reported by Afl.com.au.

The Cats have done a brilliant job of rebuilding their team this year, with youngsters like Tim Kelly, Esava Ratugolea, Lachie Fogarty and Jack Henry all coming in and playing a key role for the side.

The 19-year old Jones was taken with pick 48 in the 2017 Rookie Draft, and has been named an emergency the past fortnight. He kicked two goals against Essendon in the VFL on the weekend.

He becomes the fifth debutant for Geelong this season, the second most of any side in the competition.
