Our Rookie Rankings are still welcoming fresh faces with less than a month left in the home and away season, with a Cats rookie breaking into our top eight for the first time in 2024.

Round 21's changes have seen a mature-aged Geelong recruit enter our rankings while a Lions forward jumps two spots following a strong Sunday outing.

Another Cat headlines the chasing pack with three rounds remaining as he and a Suns midfielder stand a chance to snatch a spot before the season concludes.

8. Shaun Mannagh (NEW)

The mature-aged Cats recruit comes into our Rookie Rankings for the first time this year with three games left in the season, edging out teammate Lawson Humphries and Suns midfielder Will Graham to take eighth place from young Bulldog Ryley Sanders.

Mannagh's form since coming back into the side in Round 17 has had an impact on Geelong's return to contention, with the Werribee product averaging 16.4 disposals and 5.2 score involvements per game.

Saturday night's win over Adelaide saw the midfield-forward boot two goals and collect the ball 17 times, with one of his opening-half goals coming after some nifty forward caft in the forward pocket.

Mannagh's form has earned him a place in our Rookie Rankings with time to move up our order, while the aforementioned Humphries is threatening in our chasing pack.
