Fremantle have signed Supplemental Selection Period train-on talent Isaiah Dudley to their final list spot for the 2025 AFL season after the small forward impressed the Dockers over the pre-season.

Dudley joined the Western Australian club's program late last year after the long-term setback to young Dockers forward Odin Jones, who has been moved to Fremantle's inactive list.

A talent out of SANFL side Central District, Dudley was the sole train-on prospect at Fremantle after Norwood's Baynen Lowe suffered a shoulder injury prior to the new year, with the Dockers deciding to keep Dudley on ahead of the February 21 signing deadline.

Fremantle have now decided to sign Dudley to a rookie list spot for the year ahead of the new season, revealing the list call at a player lunch involving Dockers players and the Indigenous All Stars squad on Friday.

โ€œDudley was a very talented junior footballer and had a few injuries and things didn't go his way, but we have kept an eye on him at Central Districts.โ€ Dockers player personnel boss David Walls said.

โ€œHe had high score assists in the SANFL and hits the scoreboard himself.

โ€œHe jumped at the chance to come across and train and has handled himself really well.

โ€œHe's worked really hard and obviously still has work to do, but we are always looking to add talent in our front half.โ€

Dudley, who stands at 168cm, becomes the AFL's smallest player for the 2025 season. The 21-year-old played 20 games in the SANFL last year, booting 21 goals for the Bulldogs while averaging 9.7 disposals and 3.0 tackles per game.

He has signed a one-year deal with the Dockers, joining former Geelong and Port Adelaide forward Quinton Narkle as an SSP signing at Fremantle this off-season.
