Fremantle great David Mundy has proven he still has what it takes on the football field, booting six goals for local club Carngham Linton on Saturday,
Mundy pulled on the boots for a one-off game with the regional Victorian club as part of the 2023 Carlton Draft initiative, being the first of six AFL greats set to pull crowds to the grassroots level this year.
The Carlton Draft saw Carngham Linton hold Pick 2 and select Mundy earlier this month, with the 37-year-old named to play against Beaufort in the Central Highlands Football League.
The Dockers' all-time games record holder booted six goals in a 79-point win for the Saints as Carngham Linton piled on 22 goals in front of a packed home crowd.

The win was Carngham Linton's fourth for the year as the black, white and red now sit in third place on the ladder.
Mundy played 376 games in the purple and white across a 19-year career for the Dockers.
Nathan Buckley (Nilma Darnum), Jordan Lewis (Buchan), Josh Kennedy (Murrabit), Bernie Vince (Maryborough Rovers) and Kane Cornes (Moyston Willaura) are also set to feature for local Victorian clubs across the coming months as part of the 2023 Carlton Draft.
