Former Melbourne forward-midfielder Jack Henderson has signed with the Geelong Amateur Football and Netball club in the Bellarine League for 2027.

Henderson recently departed the Demons after two seasons in the AFL. He played five senior games after he was picked up via the SSP ahead of the 2025 campaign.

It followed a stellar career in the VFL, namely at the Werribee Tigers where he won the 2024 premiership and Norm Goss Medal (best on ground).

Henderson also finished his time at Melbourne as the 2026 best VFL player.

"We're thrilled to announce that Jack Henderson will join the Geelong Amateur Football & Netball Club for the 2027 season!" the statement read.

"With an impressive football journey, after relocating from Deniliquin, Jack played locally before making his mark at Werribee in the VFL.

"In 2024, Jack played in Werribee's VFL premiership, winning the Norm Goss Memorial Medal after a best-on-ground performance. Selected by Melbourne in 2025, he made his AFL debut. Jack capped off his time at Melbourne by taking out the Casey Demons B&F in 2026.

"We are excited to have Jack playing in the Bellarine League wearing the blue & green."

Geelong finished second on the ladder in 2026, winning 15 games throughout the year. They made the preliminary final but were knocked out by Queenscliffe, who ended up beating Torquay in the decider.
