Former Hawthorn and Brisbane player Ken Judge has passed away at age 58 after a battle with cancer.

Judge played 89 games for Hawthorn and Brisbane between 1983 and 1988 and was a member of the Hawks’ 1983 premiership side.

After his playing career, he coached Hawthorn from 1996-99 and West Coast from 2000-01.

Judge had been battling a rare bone marrow cancer of the plasma cells, called myeloma.
