Former Collingwood spearhead Travis Cloke will join the local football league ranks in 2025 after joining the 2025 Carlton Draft lineup.
This year's Carlton Draft, which sends former AFL legends out to local clubs to support grassroots football communities, already consists of three ex-AFL stars - former Geelong key forward Tom Hawkins, former Tiger and Giant Brett Deledio, and former Dockers forward Matt Pavlich.
Kicking 441 goals across 246 games at Collingwood, plus an additional 11 goals in 10 games at the Bulldogs in 2017, the 2010 premiership hero is another big-name addition to this year's draft class. Polarising his own fans with his regular inaccuracy, his innate game-changing ability was as equally adored by many of the Pies faithful.
The Carlton Draft announced the inclusion of Cloke on their website.
"The stripes, the pipes, and the glove. Travis Cloke is back and ready to rumble," the Carlton Draft statement said.
"The Premiership Pie is ready to swoop on hapless local footy defenders. Dusting off his glove and lacing up the boots, Trav is ready to take a clunk and crash a pack or two.
"He just can't wait to add a few snags to his goal tally."
Cloke is the fourth ex-footballer to be announced behind the initial recruits of Hawkins, Deledio, and Pavlich, with one more to be announced in the coming weeks.
Entries for the Carlton Draft remain open until March 18, with the concept expanding to Western Australia and New South Wales for 2025.
Five local clubs (three Victorian, one West Australian, and one New South Wales team) will win the chance to play with one of the five former AFL players, with the winning clubs and draft to be held in late-April.
