Former Geelong forward Bill Brownless says former teammate Paul Brown should make a full recovery after being king hit on the weekend, despite suffering a fractured skull and bleeding on the brain.

Brownless told Triple M Radio that when Brown woke, he had no recollection of the incident.

โ€œThe main thing here is that he is going to be okay,โ€ Brownless said.

โ€œHeโ€™s conscious, he woke up, heโ€™s got no idea what happened. Heโ€™s got a fractured skull and bleeding on the brain.โ€

An 18-year-old man has been charged with intentionally causing injury as well as several other assault related charges.
