Fremantle is one of the hardest teams to pick in terms of who the Dockers will target this trade period.
Justin Longmuir's men finished on top of the ladder, having secured the minor premiership on the eve of finals.
The majority of the Dockers' list have been signed up to long-term deals, and while they have been the dominant team of the home-and-away season this year, they also have a relatively young list. Meaning Freo should be in contention for the next few years at least.
Fremantle is yet to seriously be linked with any trade targets, so a few of these are unlikely but dream targets.
Nathan Broad (Richmond)
It's weird to think of defence as the biggest hole in Fremantle's list given it has been the Dockers' greatest strength in years gone by. And it still is but there does seem to be room to improve.
Broad has three flags worth of premiership experience and will leave Richmond at the end of the season. He is coming home to family in Perth and wants to play on.
He would cost the Dockers nothing in trade or salary and would provide invaluable experience to the squad as a whole.
The 33-year-old still remains a quality defender and even if he isn't playing, he has eyes on a future in coaching, which means he would be passionate about working with teammates and improving the side outside of game time.
