The majority of the Dockers' list have been signed up to long-term deals, and while they have been the dominant team of the home-and-away season this year, they also have a relatively young list. Meaning Freo should be in contention for the next few years at least.
Fremantle is yet to seriously be linked with any trade targets, so a few of these are unlikely but dream targets.
Lawson Humphries (Geelong)
The 23-year-old halfback flanker is one of Geelong's great roughie picks out of the draft.
Plucked from Swan Districts in the WAFL's reserves league, Humphries has grown year on year to become a silky and tough defender, culminating in a selection in Western Australia's Origin side at the start of 2026.
Humphries is contracted until the end of 2028, having signed an extension at the end of 2025.
However, could Fremantle make a play to bring him home to Western Australia?
The Dockers traded for Judd McVee last off-season, but he hasn't set the world on fire and was dropped for Round 23.
On the other halfback flank Jordan Clark has been a star of the club and Fremantle will give McVee time to settle having traded a first round draft selection to secure the 23-year-old. Unless perhaps Humphries could be encouraged to come home.
