Zac Fisher has inked a new two-year deal with Carlton, set to remain at Ikon Park until the end of 2025.

The 24-year-old has played all 15 games for the Blues this season and is enjoying a stellar campaign, averaging 18.9 disposals while kicking 13 goals.

The exciting young forward has played 88 matches for Carlton since debuting in 2017, originally selected with pick no. 27 in the 2016 AFL draft.

Carlton Head of List Management Nick Austin said Fisher's extension was the result of consistent hard work from the Blue, both on and off the field.

“Zac brings some strengths to our side that are really unique, which gives us a point of difference and his versatility and willingness to play whatever role the team needs him to is valued highly internally,” Austin said.

“He’s a popular character around the Club and puts in the work behind the scenes to continuously get the best out of himself and his teammates.

“To sign an extension with still a year to run on his contract tells you everything you need to know about his commitment to the Carlton Football Club and we are excited to see him continue to grow his game over the next three years.”

Fisher becomes the latest Blue to re-sign with the club in 2022, following new deals for Matthew Kennedy and Sam Walsh, among others.
