Some of the AFL's former stars are strapping on the boots once again in 2018, with some big names fronting up for some local clubs.
Not too many players are more popular than former Collingwood man Dane Swan, who has committed to Westmeadows in the Essendon District Football League for the upcoming campaign.
Swan has family at the division two club, although it's not known how many games he intends to play with the Tigers.

โI might play one or I might play 10 games, but hopefully it gives them a boost.โ
Swan will be joined in the EDFL by former Pie Jason Cloke, who has replaced brother Cameron at Jacana.
Cameron will play for Hurstbridge alongside Travis Cloke, after he announced his retirement from the AFL late last year.
Brent Harvey will team up with brother Shane at North Heidelberg once again, and the pair will be joined by former tennis player Sam Groth.
Brendan Fevola will lead the line for Melton South, as Brent Stanton returns to Banyule.
Rodney Eade will coach Balwyn, despite two of his former players at the Gold Coast leaving the club when he was announced as coach.
