The son of Carlton great Anthony Koutoufides headlines the Vic Metro squad for the Under-16s National Development Championships.
Lukas Koutoufides is a product of the Northern Knights and has impressed in trial games and for Northern Knights and Carey Grammar so far this year.
He has caught the eye as a powerful forward capable of taking big marks and is another player for Blues supporters to keep an eye on for the future, following Cody Walker, the son of Andrew, set to arrive at Ikon Park at the end of this year.
Anthony Koutoufides played 278 AFL games from 1992-2007.
Koutoufides and members of the Under-16s squad will be draft eligible in 2028.
Other famous names in the squad include Brock Fletcher, the nephew of Essendon great Dustin, Ben Richardson, Collingwood father-son eligible as the son of former Magpie Mark and Will Thornton, father-son eligible to Carlton as the son of Bret.
Finn O'Callaghan is a national level track and field athlete and is one of the highest profile players in the crop.
