West Coast has tied up several loose ends on its list, re-signing each of Alex Witherden, Jake Waterman, Jai Culley and Noah Long ahead of the trade period.

While the quartet had been made to wait to learn whether their futures lay at Lathlain or not, each has agreed to terms on deals that will keep them in blue and gold for either 12 or 24 months.

For the Victorians Culley and Witherden, both will call Perth home for at least the 2024 season after agreeing to terms on respective one-year deals.

Fellow Victorian Long and local product Waterman will remain under Adam Simpson's watch for a further two seasons, with both forwards penning two-year deals, keeping them under lock and key until the end of 2026.

“It's great to have the contracts completed for those four players,” List Manager Rohan O'Brien told Eagles Media.

“In relatively short periods of time, Noah and Jai have made strong impressions and they have shown they can be important players as we move forward.

“Alex had arguably his best season in senior football this year and Jake was tracking nicely until being struck down by illness. They are also important as we look to begin the climb up the ladder.”

Following their wooden-spoon-winning 2023 season, the Eagles will enter November's National Draft armed with picks 1, 20, 34, 39, 53 and 58.
