West Coast have announced the re-signings of four senior players, with Brad Sheppard, Jackson Nelson, Zane Trew and Callum Jamieson all inking new deals.

All four of the deals will have the quartet of players penned to the royal blue and gold until the end of next season.

Sheppard, a 203-game veteran with the Eagles, has secured his stay out west for a further 12 months.

The Eagles' list and recruiting manager Rohan O’Brien expressed his delight in having the All-Australian defender sign-on.

"The players who have re-signed cover the full spectrum, not just in terms of experience but also in the positions they play," O'Brien said, per the club website.

"Brad has been an outstanding player for our club for a long time and it is great to have his contract in place.

"He is also an important part of our group and has great respect across the club."

Nelson, who made his debut in 2015, has played 77 games for the Eagles in becoming a formidable option in defense.

"Jacko has added another string to his skillset this year, being able to play through the midfield as well as half-back and provides the match committee with flexibility," O'Brien added.

"He has played every game this season and is growing in confidence and stature."

Trew was taken in the 2020 Rookie Draft and is yet to feature in the Eagles senior side, while Jamieson is also yet to make his debut after joining the club the year prior.

"We see Callum and Zane as exciting young prospects for our club and they have already shown encouraging growth playing with the WAFL Eagles."

The Eagles are set to face Hawthorn on Sunday at the MCG in hope of improving on their current top-eight position.
