Brisbane and Collingwood have swapped picks ahead of next Wednesday's National Draft.

Brisbane will send pick 48 and their 2020 third-round pick to the Pies, with Collingwood sending back their 2020 second-round selection.

Brisbane's General Manager of Football David Noble said the move was a smart one for the Lions, given the remaining spots they have on their list.

“We are only allowed to have four selection for our four available positions at this year’s draft,” Noble said.

“This swap allows us to maximise our hand at this year’s and 2020’s draft.”
