A former Fremantle defender has officially linked up with VFL club Port Melbourne for the 2024 season.
Tobe Watson, who was cut by the Dockers at the end of the 2021 season, has agreed to play with the Borough, as confirmed by the club viaย Instagram on Thursday.
The 25-year-old played 14 games across three seasons at Cockburn after being taken by the Dockers with Pick 22 at the 2018 Rookie Draft.
"I am very excited at the opportunity to make the trip across the Nullabor to play for the Borough," Watson said in a statement released by Port Melbourne.
"I can't wait to play my part and see how far this group can go in 2024."
The red-haired Swan Districts product will link up with his new Port Melbourne teammates in the pre-season.
The Borough finished 15th on the VFL ladder after a 6-12 campaign this year.
