AFL player manager Liam Pickering has announced there are a number of teams interested in bringing in Collingwood forward Darcy Moore.

AFL journalist Damian Barrett reported the Sydney Swans have set their eyes on the out of contract 22-year-old on The Footy Show last week, but Pickering appeared on SEN Breakfast on Tuesday, insisting there is more than just one club inquiring about Moore.

“There is a heap of clubs interested in him outside of Collingwood,” Pickering told SEN Breakfast.

“There are a number of clubs who have rang me about Darcy because he is out of contract.

“I’ve had discussions with a number of clubs. I’m not disputing the fact that the Swans have got interest in him, they have.

“I’ve been discussing it with Collingwood, I caught up with [list manager] Ned Guy on Friday."

Pickering stressed that there are no concerns with Collingwood or Moore's fit with the team, he wanted to make it known that he has options.

“He’s a Melbourne boy. His old man played for Collingwood," Pickering explained.

“There’s certainly no issues at Collingwood.”

Moore and his Collingwood teammates will take on St Kilda in their Round 9 clash at Etihad Stadium on Saturday night.
