Adelaide star Patrick Dangerfield says that he has not considered where he will play next year after the death of coach Phil Walsh.

“It is the last thing on my mind,” Dangerfield said this morning on Adelaide radio station FIVEaa, despite two days of intense speculation on his future.

Dangerfield confirmed he met with manager Paul Connors yesterday, but said that they did not discuss his contract.

“We went out for dinner — a meeting about next season? That meeting has not happened,” he said.

“My priority is on performing and getting the group up in the last couple of weeks. The position we are in means we need to win every game. So it is easy to focus.”

“My feeling towards the club will not change — I still love the club.

“No, that was not the meeting where I made my decision — and obviously with what has happened in the last couple of weeks it is the last thing on my mind,” Dangerfield said.
