Former Adelaide Crows captain Taylor Walker is considering his future in the game amid the AFL shutdown period.

The AFL decided to halt the current season after the first round was completed due the coronavirus pandemic.

Walker believes having more time on his own than usual has forced him to contemplate his plans beyond the 2020 season.

“I’d be lying if I sat here right now and said I haven’t stressed about when my career will finish,” he told Channel 7 in Adelaide.

“They’re all things that when you’ve got time on your side, you sit there and think about.

“(It) potentially puts some stress onto people that’s not only financial stress but your well-being, your family and things like that.”
