Adelaide have announced that young forward Lachlan Gollant will make his AFL debut this weekend.

Gollant will line up for Matthew Nicks' side on Sunday as the Crows welcome North Melbourne to Adelaide Oval for their final match of the season.

The 19-year-old joined the Crows via the 2019 National Draft via the 48th overall selection, biding his time for a maiden call-up.

Gollant's impressive SANFL form has been rewarded, with the Calder Cannons product becoming Adelaide's eighth debutant of the season.

The teenager will follow James Rowe, Riley Thilthorpe, Ronin O'Connor, Nick Murray, Josh Worrell, Sam Berry and Luke Pedlar in making his AFL debut at West Lakes this year.

Currently placed 17th on the ladder, a win could see the Crows move as high as 15th to end their 2021 campaign.

This weekend's game will be veteran David Mackay's 248th and final game in the blue, red and yellow after the midfielder announced his retirement on Thursday.
