Adelaide's Rory Atikns and Jordan Gallucci have both committed to the Crows on two-year extensions, as the pair will now be Adelaide players until at least the end of the 2020 season.

Atkins has become an integral part of the Crows' midfield unit over the past two seasons, and hasn't missed a game since round 18, 2015.

The 23-year-old impressed across the 2017 season and averaged 21.4 disposals and 3.9 inside 50s per game, and told the club's website he never really considered leaving.

“Adelaide is a great place to live and play football so it’s great that I get to call it home for at least another two years,” Atkins told afc.com.au.

“The Club gave me my chance to play AFL football and I’m really grateful for that and want to repay that faith.

“We have a really tight-knit playing group who are constantly driving each other to improve which is a great environment to be around.”

Gallucci made his AFL debut in round nine against Brisbane, and played just the one senior game for the Crows last season, but did impress all year long at SANFL level.

The 2016 first-round pick joins a growing list of young players committing their futures to the Crows, with star ball-winner Matt Crouch signing on earlier this month.

“It’s fantastic to have two more promising young players commit themselves to the Club,” Adelaide's General Manager List Management and Strategy Justin Reid told the club's website.

“For Rory to play every game in the past two seasons is a credit to his hard work and preparation.

“He’s become an integral part of our midfield group and we feel he still has plenty of upside.

“In his first year at the Club, Jordan has shown he has the skills and determination to succeed at the highest level and we look forward to his continued development.”
