A host of Crows and Power AFL-listed players will make their return through the SANFL this week as both clubs bolster their line-ups ahead of Round 7.

Port Adelaide will welcome Trent McKenzie, Ivan Soldo and Quinton Narkle into the SANFL team for their clash against South Adelaide at Noarlunga on Saturday.

McKenzie and Narkle have been missing with quad and foot injuries respectively since the Magpies' Round 2 loss against West Adelaide, while Soldo will play his first SANFL game for the club following knee surgery.

Small forward Tom ​​Anastasopoulos will not be available for SANFL selection after being named as an AFL emergency for the Power's clash with North Melbourne on Saturday.

Adelaide's Luke Pedlar will return from a shoulder injury through the SANFL, while first-year key defender Dan Curtin will play in the match against Sturt following his demotion from the AFL team a fortnight ago.

AFL-listed players Sam Berry, Harry Schoenberg, Kieran Strachan and James Borlase have all been elevated to the AFL squad to take on West Coast on Sunday.

Elsewhere around the league, former Essendon-listed key defender Rhett Montgomerie will line up for Central District after announcing his return to his junior club last week.

Glenelg have strengthened their squad with the return of gun trio Lachie Hosie, Matthew Snook and Darcy Bailey from injury as they add some much-needed firepower.

Their opponents Woodville-West Torrens will regain star midfielder Riley Knight from a calf injury while Max Beattie will play his first game for the season after overcoming an ankle injury.

Sturt will welcome back contested beast Tom Lewis for just his third game of an injury-interrupted season, as wingman Steven Slimming goes out of the side with an ankle injury.

State defender Josh Ryan will make a welcome return from a hamstring for West Adelaide, as will experienced pair Tom Morrish and Hamish Ellem. The Bloods will miss the in-form Lucas Meline who is sidelined with a hamstring injury.

North Adelaide midfielder Sam Mayes has been named for the Roosters following a back complaint, as has Luke Fellows after a calf injury.

Norwood captain Jacob Kennerley will be a welcome return for the undefeated Redlges after a hamstring injury, while Tasmanian recruit Ben Simpson has been recalled following a stint in the reserves.

The winless South Adelaide have received a further blow at the selection table, with key forward Noah Howes (under-18 commitments) and Arlo Draper (concussion) both made unavailable for the clash with Port Adelaide.

Emerging defender Jonti Schuback has been recalled to the Panthers' line-up while Cameron Kirkland will play his first league game of 2024.
