Scans have revealed a quad strain for Collingwood skipper Scott Pendlebury, likely sidelining him for around two weeks.
Pendlebury complained of tightness in his left quad in the final warm-up before being withdrawn from the side.
The Eagles smashed the Magpies by 66 points at Optus Stadium in a game where Pendlebury was solely missed.

"He was tight in the back during the week and just felt a little bit tight up in the quad," Buckley said post-match.
"He knows his body really well and felt like he wasn't going to be able to kick through that and was concerned about doing some damage to his quad."
Collingwood president Eddie McGuire said that the issue may have been caused by the conditions of the training facilities being used by the Magpies in their Perth hub.
"It's more tightness in his back and he felt it through his legs," McGuire said.
"They've been training on a pretty hard ground over there and that's exacerbated the situation."
